Arrangements for Christmas 2021
On 14th and 15th December 2021 we are postponing our normal formal classes and we will operate 'open fun swims'. Parents and family will be able to join their children in the water on those dates.
Those are our last 2021 sessions. Our classes begin again on Tuesday 4th January, 2022.
Normally at this time of the year we would be arranging our Christmas competitions but unfortunately in the circumstances we can't do that. Lets hope that by next year all this will be behind us.

Class Details September 2021
Temporary arrangements for our swimming classes are detailed below. As soon as Covid restrictions are lifted we will revert to our original time table. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Northside Classes
Tuesday 6.30 pm to 7.15 pm - This class will resume on 7/09/2021. (Week 3 of the term)
Wednesday 3.00 to 3.45 pm - Awaiting opening date
Wednesday 3.30 pm to 4.15 pm - This class will resume on 1/09/2021. (Week 1 of the term - Fees Due)
Wednesday 6 to 6.45 pm - This class will resume on 1/09/2021. (Week 3 of the term)
Wednesday 8 to 8.45 pm - This class was temporarily running from 7.15 to 8.00 pm. for 4 weeks before Summer. However we are unable to retain this time slot and unfortunately we have to hold this class until Covid restrictions are lifted. However we will be able to accommodate the small group of older beginners who started with us mid June in our Wednesday class starting at 6 pm. We will contact that group of people with details.
CRC Classes
Tuesday 7-8 pm Awaiting opening date

Update 24th August, 2021
We are still unable to confirm a resumption date for our classes in Clontarf. CRC are in the process of replacing the air handling unit in the pool. Unfortunately I don't have any information as to how that project is progressing. I would suggest that Parent's contact the CRC directly with a view to getting some definitive information on the completion of works. We will continue to push for more information and we will contact Parent's as soon as we have an update.
In early August CRC 'texted' us to say that the pool in Clontarf continues to remain closed. The only additional information that has been provided is that an update will be posted to the Central Remedial Clinic website when there are details relating to reopening. We will continue to try and get more definitive information but lets hope that we can get some positive news in the coming weeks. A bulletin will issue when more details are available.
Older Updates
On the weekend of 29th May 2021, Swim Ireland announced that they had secured agreement from the Government that swimming lessons could resume in Ireland. As a result of this we will be able to resume most of our classes in Northside swimming pool starting from Tuesday 8th June, 2021. The position on our classes in Clontarf is that CRC is in the process of replacing an Air Handling Unit in the swimming pool. Unfortunately therefore, we can't resume our Clontarf arrangements before Summer break. However this is all very positive news which points toward a return to normality in September.
We continue to deal with CRC and Northside with a view to getting all children back in the water as soon as possible. A bulletin will issue as soon as we have more information.
Northside Swimming Pool based classes
Tuesday 6.00 pm to 6.45 pm -This class will resume on 8/06/2021. Please note that on a temporary basis this class is running from 6.30 pm to 7.15 pm
Wednesday 3.30 pm to 4.15 pm - This class will resume on 9/06/2020
Wednesday 6 to 6.45 pm - This class will resume on 9/06/2020
Wednesday 8 to 8.45 pm - Older beginners / Improvers. This class will resume on 9/06/2021. Please note that on a temporary basis this class is running from 7.15pm to to 8.00 pm

Covid 19 measures in operation as of June, 2021
Beginner's Group
Ideally Parents of beginner level children should bring their children to the pool, pre changed and in their swimsuits with suitable clothing e.g. track suit / dressing robe. This will facilitate a quick entry into the water and prevent excessive use of the changing area.
Parent’s should if possible exit the pool area once their child is under the supervision of their swimming teacher.
Beginners getting changed will see their swimming teacher at the side of the pool. They should get changed at one of the numbered stations beside their teacher.
Children will remain on the poolside until the teacher is in a position to begin the formal lesson and instructs them to enter the water.
On a temporary basis we will end the beginners group after 40 minutes. At this stage the beginner’s groups will be instructed to leave the pool. Parent’s should be ready to change their children after 40 minutes (in the changing rooms) and exit the complex as quickly as possible. We are unable to remove our other groups from the water until Parent’s and beginners have left the premises.
Improvers and Advanced Groups
If possible Parents should bring their children to the pool, pre changed and in their swimsuits with suitable clothing e.g. track suit / dressing rob. This will facilitate a quick entry into the water and prevent excessive use of the changing area. Parent’s should if possible exit the pool area once their child is under the supervision of their swimming teacher.
